I would like help buying an area rug for the master bedroom. What kind of material, thread count, under rug mats? I need to know every thing.

I have been looking on Ebay and see a lot of rugs that look nice for under 0. Are these rugs to good to be true? Are they really just junk or can a 0 6×8 area rug really be of good quality?

I have darker oak cabinets and am looking to replace the countertop and flooring. I want hardwood flooring. My appliances are white. What color flooring and countertop should I go with.

I’m trying to find an area rug for my living room, styled in what one might call casual modern (no florals or persians). The room has white walls (apartment), subdued goldish tan sofa and loveseat and burgundy leather accent chairs. Side tables and coffee table have a black finish, and wall art is predominantly black or dark brown with burgandy accents. Lots of plants, too, which introduce greens into the room. But there’s a tannish wall-to-wall, and while the room has a dark, masculine feel, which I like overall, for some reason it’s also a little monochromatic feeling. Perhaps it’s my tendencies toward solid colors. So I’m looking now to brighten and punch things up a bit on the floor without getting too garish. I’ve found lots of rugs with colors and patterns I like, but I can’t tell what would work best in that room. I’m hoping for something on the lighter side, I think, to make the blacks pop, but that will also harmonize with the golds and burgandies.

My baby (my cat) is pooping opn various area rugs in our house. The one next to the toliet, shower, and kitchen. She flips them over and poops on the bottom of the rug. I don’t know what to do. We had to throw them all away and my husband is getting frusterated bc I am pregnant and he doesn’t want this to be happening when the baby comes. Any suggestions on what can be causing her to do this?
Shes one year old and has never dfone this before?
